Job summary

Lineage is seeking an AI Engineer - Finance to partner with the Finance organization, embedding with controllership, FP&A, and accounting teams to identify AI opportunities and deliver high-impact solutions.

You will teach and enable finance professionals to build, run, and improve AI workflows, promoting self-sufficiency and governance aligned with the AI CoE. This remote role emphasizes scalable, end-to-end finance use cases and collaboration with the enterprise AI platform team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, software engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years in software engineering or applied ML/AI with stakeholder delivery.
• Experience with enterprise AI platforms like Claude Enterprise or ChatGPT Enterprise is a plus.
• Proficient in Python and modern AI/ML tooling.
• Experience in fast-paced or consulting environments with shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Embed with Finance and Accounting to identify AI opportunities.
• Teach finance teams to adopt AI tools and create reusable guides.
• Quantify use-case value and prioritize the engagement pipeline.
• Design end-to-end AI solutions with data ingestion and deployment.
• Ensure governance, security, data controls, and SOX alignment.
• Collaborate with Platform Engineers to extend tooling.
• Deliver flagship finance use cases like month-end close.
