Job summary

OpenKrill is seeking a Principal AI Deployment Manager, Controller to bring controller-level accounting depth to AI-driven finance work across order-to-cash, close, and procure-to-pay processes. You will collaborate with finance leaders to map current workflows, identify AI opportunities, and shape a practical path from discovery to tested delivery.

You’ll translate policy, controls, and system behavior into clear requirements, partner with engineers, and guide adoption with measurable outcomes

Qualifications

• CPA background with controller or controllership experience.
• Extensive experience implementing AI-driven finance workflows.
• Ability to translate accounting policy into engineering requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead finance process discovery with controllers and SMEs to map O2C, close, and P2P workflows.
• Translate controller needs into structured product requirements and test criteria.
• Collaborate with Forward Deployed Engineers to define MVP plans and delivery.
• Define evaluation criteria and track results against baselines.
• Build reusable finance delivery practices from client work.
