Job summary

Crux AI, a U.S.-based integrated AI infrastructure company, is seeking a senior financial leader to build the financial backbone as it scales toward a public listing. Reporting to the CFO, you will lead ERP implementation, establish AI-forward accounting, internal controls, and multi-entity close cycles, partnering across Finance, HR, IT and Legal.

You will drive complex capex and revenue recognition models, prepare board-ready reporting, and recruit and mentor a lean accounting team.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience with 3+ years in a senior leadership role (VP, Controller, or Director) in a high-growth tech or capital-intensive hardware/infrastructure business.
• Deep domain familiarity with asset accounting, depreciation, lease accounting, and high-volume procurement.
• Experience taking a company public (S-1 prep, PCAOB audits) or operating in a publicly traded tech firm.

Responsibilities

• Architect ERP construction and scaling with key connections to core business systems.
• Develop an AI-forward operational accounting function.
• Implement public-company-grade internal controls.
• Navigate complex capex and revenue recognition models.
• Drive inaugural PCAOB audits in preparation for public listing.
• Lead cross-functional partnerships across Finance, HR, IT, and Legal.
