Job summary

Usersnap, part of saas.group, is seeking an AI Lead / Engineering Manager. You will lead a small team, set technical direction, review code, and shape AI-enabled features end-to-end. The role is fully remote, with a strong focus on observability, testing, and scalable AI-powered architectures.

You will partner with Product to translate requirements into reliable, production-grade delivery, while mentoring engineers and maintaining high standards in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• Leadership with 2–3 years of people management preferred.
• 7+ years in software engineering with AI feature delivery.
• Strong full-stack skills across frontend, backend, infra.
• Experience with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, and evaluation.
• Emphasis on observability, testing, security, and scalable data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small engineering team; coordinate delivery and timelines.
• Provide technical direction; give constructive code/design feedback.
• Define and uphold AI-native standards for observability, testing, and security.
• Own architecture decisions and model integration tradeoffs.
• Partner with Product to align requirements with technical reality.
