Job summary

Point is hiring a Technical Lead Manager to guide a small, senior engineering team building AI-powered customer experiences for homeowners. You will stay hands-on, set the technical direction, and collaborate with Product, Ops, and CX to ship scalable AI agents.

Based in the Bay Area or remote in the US, you will define strategy, lead architecture decisions, and mentor engineers while ensuring delivery quality and system reliability.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering with production systems.
• 2+ years leading or managing engineering teams.
• Experience shipping LLM-powered or agentic systems.

Responsibilities

• Define the AI technical strategy for CX, including evaluating platforms and vendors.
• Own the technical roadmap for AI-powered customer experiences (voice, email, chat, SMS).
• Write code with your team; review PRs and prototype capabilities.
• Partner with Product, CX, and Ops to ship AI-enabled workflows.
• Establish success metrics for agent performance and priority roadmaps.
• Design reliable agent architectures for production scale.
• Lead and grow a small senior engineering team and remove blockers.
• Drive observability and reliability across the AI stack (Langfuse).
