Job summary

MasteryPrep in the United States is seeking a Senior Product Engineering Lead to guide a small team of product engineers in an AI-native development workflow. You will ship code, unblock teammates, and own the health of both the product and the process.

The role centers on designing and running an AI-assisted development system where humans retain accountability for what ships, set decision points, and verify every commit before it lands.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with hands-on leadership.
• 2+ years as a team lead or engineering manager while remaining hands-on.
• Strong full-stack depth with React/TypeScript and backend Node.js.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with AI-assisted development and related tooling.
• Ability to read large codebases quickly and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of product engineers, planning and strategy.
• Define AI-native workflows with prompts, criteria, and checkpoints.
• Maintain human accountability for every shipped change.
• Design, build, and maintain features using AI-native engineering.
• Own data and LMS integrations and ensure data quality.
• Set and uphold testing, CI, and security standards.
• Measure impact and optimize development processes.
