Job summary

Cross Border Talents is seeking an AI Engineer for Portless to design, build and deploy scalable AI systems powering e-commerce logistics. The role is remote in North America with about 6 hours of overlap with Eastern Time and offers a full-time engagement.

Responsibilities include end-to-end ML lifecycle, deployment to production, and collaboration with product and engineering to deliver AI-powered features. Salary ranges from $180,000 to $230,000 USD.

Qualifications

• 4+ years AI/ML engineering experience.
• Strong Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• Experience deploying models to production.
• Must be authorised to work in the US (no sponsorship).
• Canada/Mexico candidates only if they already hold US work authorisation.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy AI/ML models for logistics and e-commerce use cases.
• Work with LLMs, computer vision and predictive analytics.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to ship AI-powered features.
• Own the full ML lifecycle: data, training, evaluation, deployment.
• Monitor and improve model performance in production.
