Job summary

Cross Border Talents is seeking an AI Engineer for Portless to design, build and deploy AI systems that optimize e-commerce logistics at scale. This fully remote role covers North America with ~6h overlap with ET.

You will work on AI/ML models, LLMs, CV, and predictive analytics, owning the full lifecycle from data to deployment. US work authorization is required; sponsorship is not offered.

Salary range $180,000–$230,000; exciting chance to shape AI in a fast-growing logistics space.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of AI/ML engineering experience.
• Strong Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• Experience deploying models to production.
• Must be authorised to work in the US (no sponsorship).
• Canada/Mexico candidates only if they already hold US work authorisation.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy AI/ML models for logistics and e-commerce use cases.
• Work with LLMs, computer vision and predictive analytics.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to ship AI-powered features.
• Own the full ML lifecycle: data, training, evaluation, deployment.
• Monitor and improve model performance in production.
