Job summary

Portless is seeking an AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy intelligent systems that optimize supply-chain operations at scale. You will own the full ML lifecycle, from data to deployment, and work with product and engineering to ship AI-powered features.

Join a fast-growing team in a fully remote role across North America with approximately 6 hours of overlap with Eastern Time. A strong background in Python and ML frameworks and production experience is required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of AI/ML engineering experience.
• Strong Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• Experience deploying models to production.
• Must be authorised to work in the US (no sponsorship).
• Canada/Mexico candidates only if they already hold US work authorisation.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy AI/ML models for logistics and e‑commerce use cases.
• Work with LLMs, computer vision and predictive analytics.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to ship AI-powered features.
• Own the full ML lifecycle: data, training, evaluation, deployment.
• Monitor and improve model performance in production.
