Job summary

Portless is hiring an AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy intelligent systems that optimize supply-chain operations. This remote role spans across North America with ~6 hours overlap with ET, offering a full-time position and a competitive salary.

You will work on AI for logistics and e-commerce, from data and training to production deployment and monitoring. The ideal candidate has 4+ years in AI/ML engineering, strong Python and ML frameworks, and production deployment experience.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of AI/ML engineering experience.
• Strong Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• Experience deploying models to production.
• Must be authorised to work in the US (no sponsorship).
• Canada/Mexico candidates only if they already hold US work authorisation.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy AI/ML models for logistics and e-commerce use cases.
• Work with LLMs, computer vision and predictive analytics.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to ship AI-powered features.
• Own the full ML lifecycle: data, training, evaluation, deployment.
• Monitor and improve model performance in production.
