Job summary

JD Power invites applications for an AI Engineer (P3) to join the Innovation Crew. This remote role spans the USA, Canada, Europe and Australia, offering hands-on work with frontier AI systems, agentic frameworks, and core data infrastructure.

You will ship features in PoC sprints, contribute to the Power Agents library, and collaborate with the AI Experience Engineer to connect UI to backend services and data sources like Snowflake.

Qualifications

• Full-stack engineering fundamentals across backend and frontend, able to build a working API and surface it through a UI.
• Genuine, demonstrable curiosity about AI systems; familiarity with LLMs, RAG, and tool-calling concepts.
• Clean, well-documented code and a fast-learning orientation; comfortable collaborating with senior engineers and learning quickly.

Responsibilities

• Build full-stack features and components for Innovation Crew pilots: backend services, REST APIs, data pipelines, and frontend interfaces.
• Integrate builds with Snowflake, internal APIs, and cloud platforms; ensure data access and schema conventions.
• Contribute to Power Agents library with new patterns, tests, and observable, auditable code.
• Develop tool integrations, evaluation harnesses, and observability instrumentation for AI agents.
