Job summary

JD Power is seeking an AI Engineer (P3) for a remote role across USA, Canada, Europe or Australia. You will build full‑stack features powering Innovation Crew pilots, from backend services to frontend, under the Principal AI Engineer.

Expect to work with frontier model APIs, agent frameworks, and JD Power data infrastructure to ship production‑ready capabilities. Collaborating with the AI Experience Engineer, you will implement interfaces, integrate with Snowflake, and contribute to the Power

Qualifications

• Experience building full‑stack APIs and UIs.
• Demonstrated work with LLMs and AI tool‑calling.
• Strong engineering fundamentals and fast learning.

Responsibilities

• Build full‑stack features and components for Innovation Crew pilots: backend services, REST APIs, data pipelines, and frontend implementations.
• Integrate builds with JD Power's data infrastructure: Snowflake, internal APIs, cloud platforms, and API Gateway.
• Contribute to Power Agents library development: implement patterns, write tests, instrument traces, document behavior.
• Contribute to AI agent workforce: build tool integrations, evaluation harnesses, and observability instrumentation.
• Consume frontier model APIs, agent frameworks, and MCP server integrations; develop hands‑on proficiency in production‑adjacent environment.
• Collaborate with AI Experience Engineer to implement frontend components and connect UI to backend services.
• Support intake scoping by mapping dependencies, spike on unknowns, and estimating effort; build PoC implementations.
