JD Power is seeking a Senior Manager, Engineering – AI & Innovation to lead the AI & Innovation function across Power Agents and Launch Lab pods. You will own the people, the roadmap, and the outcomes, guiding the team through strategic prioritization and cross‑org collaboration.

You will translate enterprise AI strategy into executable roadmaps, own delivery metrics, and report progress to Engineering leadership.

Qualifications

8+ years of software engineering with direct people management.
Experience leading an AI/ML or innovation-focused engineering function.
Track record translating strategy into an executable, resourced roadmap.
Experience owning delivery metrics and reporting to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

Hire, manage, coach, and grow the AI & Innovation function; drive performance and career development.
Own the team roadmap: translate AI strategy into quarterly roadmaps for Innovation Crew and Launch Lab.
Own the operating cadence: approve intake process and resolve bottlenecks in pilots.
Manage DevOps, AppSec, and Cloud partnerships to meet security and ci/cd needs.
Own metrics and executive reporting: PoC velocity, adoption rates, hours saved, standards compliance.
Oversee cross‑org relationships and governance with engineering clusters and business units.
Deliver major initiatives like AI Everywhere rollout and Snowflake AI/ML coordination.
