Select Source Solutions is seeking a remote Senior AI Developer to design, build, and integrate production AI solutions within modern cloud environments.

This hands-on role focuses on moving AI from prototypes to reliable applications and workflows, connecting models to enterprise data, building secure APIs, implementing RAG and knowledge-retrieval, and delivering scalable AI services in collaboration with cloud architects and engineers.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in software/AI engineering.
• Hands-on AI production deployment experience.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Experience with LLMs/generative AI.
• Experience with RAG and knowledge retrieval.
• Experience building APIs and cloud AI services.
• Ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy production AI and ML solutions.
• Build generative AI and LLM-enabled applications using cloud models.
• Develop RAG solutions connecting LLMs with enterprise knowledge sources.
• Build AI agents and workflows interacting with apps, tools, data.
• Develop APIs and backend services integrating AI capabilities.
• Implement prompt-management, model orchestration, retrieval, and workflow logic.
• Integrate AI with databases, document repositories, vector stores, APIs.
• Design ingestion, embedding, indexing, search, and retrieval workflows.
• Evaluate model and application performance, accuracy, latency, quality.
• Develop safeguards, logging, monitoring and reliability controls.
• Deploy AI workloads into scalable cloud environments.
• Collaborate with cloud architects, engineers, cybersecurity, stakeholders.
• Research emerging AI models and tools; build reusable components.
