Job summary

JD Power seeks a Senior Manager, Engineering - AI & Innovation. Remote-friendly in the USA/Canada, reporting to the VP of Architecture. You will lead the AI & Innovation organization, own the roadmap, and drive outcomes across PoC, AI standards, and agent workforce programs.

You’ll partner with Engineering leadership to scale the function and ensure alignment with enterprise AI strategy. You will translate strategy into actionable roadmaps, manage performance and hiring, and liaison with

Qualifications

8+ years of software engineering with direct people management.
Experience leading AI/ML or innovation-focused engineering.
Ability to translate strategy into executable roadmaps with exec sponsorship.
Experience owning delivery metrics and KPIs and reporting to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

Hire, coach, and grow the AI & Innovation function and manage career development.
Translate enterprise AI strategy into quarterly roadmaps for Innovation Crew and Launch Lab.
Own three-gate intake process, escalations, and ensure efficient execution.
Partner with DevOps, AppSec, and Cloud Engineering to meet security and infra needs.
Report PoC velocity, Power Agents adoption, and AI Standards compliance to leadership.
Manage onboarding/offboarding of AI agents and evolve agent capabilities.
Maintain cross-org relationships with engineering clusters and business units.
