Pearson is seeking a Specialist – Science (Physical Sciences) within Content Development to build and review K-12 assessment content for state and district clients across the United States. You will work with educators, committees, and partners to ensure accessible, standards-based assessments.

The role emphasizes AI-assisted content development, item creation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams, including psychometrics, to enhance test quality. Remote work is supported.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in physics or chemistry or equivalent experience.
• Five years’ experience as an elementary or secondary teacher in relevant content area preferred.
• Strong knowledge of content development and educational trends.
• Experience with large-scale educational assessment preferred.
• Interest and ability to learn and apply AI in content creation.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and review content-specific test items across grade levels for large-scale assessments.
• Create item specifications, test blueprints, and ancillary documents.
• Leverage AI-powered tools to support content development and ensure accessibility standards.
• Collaborate to integrate AI-generated assets in assessment workflows.
• Select and train item writers and educators based on standards and cognitive complexity.
• Support customer meetings with content assessment expertise.
• Participate in test construction and review of test forms.
• Consult with customers and attend planning and review meetings.
• Coordinate with test development managers and psychometricians.
• Stay current with emerging AI technologies in education.
• Travel as needed.
