Pearson is hiring a Specialist for Content Development (Science) to build and review K-12 assessment content for state and district clients. You will act as a content and assessment expert, collaborating with educators and partners to ensure accessible, standards-based assessments across the U.S.

You will leverage AI tools to support content creation, participate in item development, and coordinate with test development managers. Remote work is offered with some travel.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in education or equivalent required.
• Five years’ experience as an elementary or secondary teacher preferred.
• Professional knowledge of content area and educational trends.
• Experience with large-scale educational measurement preferred.
• Excellent AI-assisted content development skills required.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and review content-specific test items across grade levels.
• Develop item/passage writers and educators; manage assignments.
• Leverage AI-powered tools to develop, review, and enhance assessments.
• Collaborate with team to integrate AI assets in workflows.
• Prepare test specifications, blueprints, and ancillary documents.
• Support customer meetings with content assessment expertise.
• Assist in test construction, review, and planning activities.
• Consult with customers and participate in planning/reviews.
• Work with Pearson groups and stay updated on AI in education.
• Travel as required.
