Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a QE Automation Engineer (AI Testing) to design, develop, and execute automated testing solutions for Communications and Media applications. You will work within the Quality Engineering team to deliver high-quality software while collaborating with developers, product owners, architects, and business stakeholders.

The role emphasizes AI-enabled testing, Playwright-centric automation, and integration into CI/CD pipelines for faster delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on software testing and quality engineering experience supporting Communications and Media applications.
• Strong experience developing test automation solutions using Playwright.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium and Katalon test automation frameworks.
• Experience utilizing AI-enabled tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude, or similar platforms to improve testing efficiency and automation.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated functional and regression test suites using Playwright, Selenium, and Katalon.
• Convert and modernize existing Katalon-based automation assets into Playwright frameworks.
• Execute automated regression testing and analyze test results to identify defects and quality risks.
• Leverage AI-powered tools and large language models to transform user stories into test cases and automation scripts.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and faster software delivery.
