Cognizant is seeking a QE Automation Engineer (AI Testing) to design, develop, and execute automated testing solutions for Communications and Media apps. You will work with developers, product owners, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality software and accelerate release cycles.

The role emphasizes Playwright-based automation, AI-assisted test case generation, and integration into CI/CD pipelines, with remote work options for qualified US applicants.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on software testing and quality engineering experience.
• Strong experience developing test automation solutions using Playwright.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium and Katalon test automation frameworks.
• Experience utilizing AI-enabled tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude, or similar platforms.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated functional and regression test suites using Playwright, Selenium, and Katalon.
• Convert and modernize existing Katalon-based automation assets into Playwright frameworks.
• Execute automated regression testing and analyze test results to identify defects and quality risks.
• Leverage AI-powered tools and large language models to transform user stories into test cases and automation scripts.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and faster software delivery.
