Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a QE Automation Engineer (AI Testing) to design, develop, and execute automated testing solutions that improve software quality and speed delivery for Communications and Media applications. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable software.

This remote US role offers flexibility and a strong focus on Playwright, Selenium, Katalon, and AI-powered testing, with CI/CD integration and modern agile practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on software testing and quality engineering experience.
• Strong experience developing test automation using Playwright.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium and Katalon.
• Experience using AI-enabled tools such as Copilot or similar platforms to improve testing efficiency.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated functional and regression test suites using Playwright, Selenium, and Katalon.
• Convert and modernize existing Katalon-based automation assets into Playwright frameworks.
• Execute automated regression testing and analyze test results to identify defects and quality risks.
• Leverage AI-powered tools to transform user stories into test cases and automation scripts.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing.
