Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a QE Automation Engineer (AI Testing) to design, develop, and run automated tests that improve software quality and accelerate releases for Communications and Media applications. You will collaborate with developers, product owners, and architects.

You will work with Playwright, Selenium, and Katalon; apply AI-enabled tools to convert user stories into tests; and integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines to enable faster delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on software testing and quality engineering experience.
• Strong experience developing test automation solutions using Playwright.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium and Katalon test automation frameworks.
• Experience utilizing AI-enabled tools to improve testing efficiency and automation.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated functional and regression test suites using Playwright, Selenium, and Katalon.
• Convert and modernize existing Katalon-based automation assets into Playwright frameworks.
• Execute automated regression testing and analyze test results to identify defects and quality risks.
• Leverage AI-powered tools to transform user stories into test cases and automation scripts.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and faster software delivery.
