Job summary

H&R Block in the United States is seeking a Consumer Insights Researcher to lead research operations, Voice of Customer programs, and AI-enabled tooling. You will manage the research tools, synthesize insights, and drive consumer trend analyses to inform strategic decisions for tax and financial services.

You'll partner with cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects, and translate data into clear, actionable narratives for senior leaders and stakeholders across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Psychology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in consumer insights, market research, VOC programs, or related fields.
• Experience with qualitative and quantitative research methodologies and survey design.
• Ability to synthesize secondary research and diverse data sources.
• Strong project management skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Define and enhance research processes, tools, governance, and documentation.
• Lead knowledge management of insights and competitive intelligence.
• Lead AI-led tools and agents to transform the research function.
• Oversee the research software suite and vendor relationships.
• Support Voice of Customer program with project management and insights.
• Lead consumer trends work and report on trends impacting tax/financial services.
• Synthesize insights into narratives for internal stakeholders and teams.
