Job summary

The Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) seeks a Client Services Liaison to provide information and referral counseling, perform intake and screening for Elderly and Disabled Waiver Programs, and coordinate services for older adults, caregivers, and people with disabilities in the Atlanta region. This role is fully remote after an introductory period, with occasional in-office days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, human services, gerontology or related field.
• One year of related counseling or client advocacy or information/referral experience in area of assignment.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform duties.

Responsibilities

• Provides telephone or face-to-face consultation to determine program eligibility; assesses client needs and performs intake and screening.
• Conducts individualized research to determine resources to meet client needs; makes referrals and links clients with resources.
• Documents client interactions in client management system including assessment, needs, referrals and outcomes.
• Collaborates with community partners to facilitate access to services.
• Conducts follow-up with clients to ensure resources are received and appropriate.
• Performs other duties to support agency goals and objectives.
