Job summary

Brown & Brown is seeking an Agency Development Manager to expand the agency distribution channel by driving qualified quote submissions, increasing written premium, and growing policies in force. You will train and support agencies while building strategic partnerships across multiple departments, with travel for in-person visits within the territory.

The role demands a self-motivated professional skilled in communication, relationship building, and data-driven performance management.

Qualifications

• Active P&C license (2-20) required.
• 2-4 years of P&C industry experience minimum.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce CRM.

Responsibilities

• Develop and nurture relationships with new and existing agencies to drive risk selection and growth.
• Generate premium growth through agency interactions (calls, emails, visits).
• Identify and develop agency opportunities through prospecting.
• Provide training and ongoing support on products, systems, and underwriting guidelines.
• Maintain agency records in Salesforce and collaborate with marketing for consistent communications.
