Job summary

AWS Aerospace & Satellite Solutions is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to drive adoption of cloud services across aerospace and satellite domains. This role focuses on technical engagements, blueprints, and enabling pilots with business development discussions worldwide.

The ideal candidate combines space-domain expertise with software architecture and cloud capabilities, and must be a US citizen.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 4+ years of technology domain experience (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• 4+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.

Responsibilities

• Provide architectural guidance to promote successful partner engagements.
• Ideation of new managed services and unique AWS solutions.
• Assist solution providers with technical strategies to sell on AWS.
• Hands-on PoCs, solution development, testing, documentation, training, device certification if required.
• Write reference architectures, configurations, courses, and trainings.
• Share best-practice knowledge with the AWS Solutions Architect community.
• Capture feedback to product management and engineering teams to shape AWS strategy.
• Share best-practice knowledge for deploying and managing AWS solutions.
• Contribute to AWS strategy and coordinate internal teams to provide solutions and new revenue streams.
