Job summary

Amazon Web Services is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect focused on Aerospace and Satellite Solutions to lead technical engagements with customers and partners worldwide. You will develop architectural blueprints, reference architectures, and pilots to accelerate cloud adoption in aerospace sectors.

Role requires strong space-domain expertise, cloud design, and customer-facing skills, with the ability to translate business needs into scalable AWS-based solutions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
• 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
• 4+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide the architectural guidance and recommendations necessary to promote successful partner engagements.
• Ideation of new managed services streams and unique solutions that positions AWS as a lead provider.
• Assist solution providers with technical strategies that will enable them to sell more of their offering on the AWS platform.
• Hands on responsibilities: PoCs execution, solution development (testing, documentation, training), device certification (if required).
• Write reference architectures and configuration guides, develop courses, and trainings.
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge with our broader Solution Architect community.
• Share partner and customer feedback to internal product management and engineering teams to help drive the future of AWS.
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge for deploying, running, and managing solutions on AWS with AWS communities.
• Contribute to AWS’ strategy and understanding of the market orchestrate internal teams to provide solution and new revenue streams.
