Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect with a space industry and cloud background to help space companies achieve their missions through cloud solutions. You will lead architecture reviews, whiteboard sessions, demos and technical workshops with customers.

Collaborate with account management, professional services, support, and product teams; travel up to 25% to customer sites and AWS locations; contribute to the growth of the Solutions Architecture organization;

Qualifications

• 8+ years in technology domains (software, cloud, systems, infra, security, networking, data/analytics).
• 3+ years design, implementation or consulting in applications/infrastructures.
• 10+ years IT development or implementation/consulting in software/Internet industries.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to accelerate their missions and recommend best-practice architectures aligned with long-term outcomes.
• Build technical relationships with customers and act as their trusted advisor.
• Share the voice of the customer to inform AWS feature roadmaps.
• Create and share best practices, technical content and new reference architectures.
• Evangelise and educate about AWS technology through workshops, user groups, meetups, public speaking, online videos or conferences.
• Contribute to the growth of the Solutions Architecture organization by interviewing candidates and mentoring others.
• Develop areas of depth in technical domains relevant to customer outcomes.
