Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect focused on Aerospace and Satellite Solutions to accelerate cloud adoption across the aerospace market.

You will own the technical engagement with customers/partners, develop blueprints and templates, enable prototypes, and coordinate feature requests with AWS service teams. The role requires deep space domain knowledge, cloud architecture skills, and strong business-facing abilities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 4+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries.
• 4+ years of experience in software development, cloud computing, or systems engineering.

Responsibilities

• Provide the architectural guidance and recommendations necessary to promote successful partner engagements.
• Ideation of new managed services streams and unique solutions that positions AWS as a lead provider.
• Assist solution providers with technical strategies to sell more on the AWS platform.
• Hands on responsibilities: PoCs execution, solution development, device certification (if required).
• Write reference architectures and configuration guides, develop courses, and trainings.
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge with the Solution Architect community.
• Share partner/customer feedback to internal teams to help drive AWS strategy.
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge for deploying solutions on AWS.
