Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Solutions Architect for Aerospace and Satellite Solutions to drive cloud adoption across the aerospace sector. You will own technical engagements, develop blueprints, and enable pilots with business development teams.

The ideal candidate has deep space domain knowledge, software architecture, and cloud computing experience, plus strong communication skills. This role requires US citizenship and can be located in any contig US AWS office.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 4+ years in technology domain areas (cloud computing, systems engineering, security, networking, data & analytics).
• 4+ years in IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.

Responsibilities

• Provide the architectural guidance and recommendations necessary to promote successful partner engagements.
• Ideation of new managed services streams and unique solutions that positions AWS as a lead provider.
• Assist solution providers with technical strategies that will enable them to sell more of their offering on the AWS platform.
• Hands on responsibilities: PoCs execution, solution development (testing, documentation, training), device certification (if required).
• Write reference architectures and configuration guides, develop courses, and trainings.
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge with our broader Solution Architect community.
• Share partner and customer feedback to internal product management and engineering teams to help drive the future of AWS.
