Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to drive adoption of AWS services for aerospace and satellite solutions globally. You will lead technical engagements with Aerospace and Satellite Solutions customers and partners, developing blueprints and quick-start templates to accelerate solution development.

The ideal candidate will have deep space domain expertise, software architecture, and cloud computing skills, plus strong business and customer-facing

Qualifications

• 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
• 4+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience.
• 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide the architectural guidance and recommendations necessary to promote successful partner engagements.
• Ideation of new managed services streams and unique solutions that positions AWS as a lead provider.
• Assist solution providers with technical strategies that will enable them to sell more of their offering on the AWS platform.
• Hands on responsibilities: PoCs execution, solution development (testing, documentation, training), device certification (if required).
• Write reference architectures and configuration guides, develop courses, and trainings.
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge with our broader Solution Architect community.
• Share partner and customer feedback to internal product management and engineering teams to help drive the future of AWS.
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge for deploying, running, and managing solutions on AWS with AWS communities.
• Contribute to AWS' strategy and understanding of the market orchestrate internal teams to provide solution and new revenue streams.
