Job summary

Robotic Data is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead end-to-end aerial geospatial operations and delivery. You will manage planning, airborne collection, data processing, QA/QC, and client acceptance while coordinating across technical teams and clients.

The role requires 8–10+ years in geospatial or related fields, strong leadership, and proficiency with Smartsheet. This is a remote, full-time position with a salary range of $130,000–$140,000 and immediate hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 5 years’ project management experience or 10 years’ related experience.
• 8–10+ years of geospatial, aerial mapping, or remote sensing experience.
• Deep understanding of aerial mapping, remote sensing, LiDAR, imagery, GIS, and photogrammetry workflows.
• Experience in managing field operations and geospatial delivery teams.
• Strong financial, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Smartsheet experience required.
• Excellent communication and leadership capability.

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle management of aerial geospatial programs from planning through final delivery.
• Own aerial collection operations including scheduling, flight coordination, collection readiness, and field execution either directly or via the Robotic Data partner network.
