Job summary

Revolution Geosystems, LLC is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee airborne remote sensing and ground survey programs in Huntsville, AL or remote. This leadership role focuses on planning, estimating, execution, and deliverables, ensuring safety, client goals, and continuous process improvement.

You will lead the data acquisition team, manage sensor operations, and coordinate with senior leaders to drive project success.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in data acquisition, geospatial ops, or PM with leadership experience.
• Experience with aerial imagery, lidar, bathymetric or geophysical data collection.
• Familiarity with large-format airborne sensors is essential.
• Proficiency with geospatial data platforms: ESRI, Global Mapper, QGIS.
• Strong knowledge of PM tools: Asana, MS Office, Google Workspace.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Strategic leadership: create and manage data acquisition workflows.
• Project lifecycle management end-to-end with structured approach.
• Sensor management: calibrate, maintain, and deploy equipment; oversee workflows.
• Client & partner relations: maintain long-term relationships with clear communication.
• Personnel & development: mentor data acquisition team; scheduling and performance.
• Administrative & financial oversight: monitor project finances, invoicing, AR guidance.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Follow policies, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
