Job summary

Ulteig is seeking a Geospatial & Reality Capture Manager to lead the development, implementation, and delivery of advanced spatial data services, including UAV surveying, LiDAR, photogrammetry, and point cloud products for engineering projects.

You will establish SOPs, QA/QC workflows, oversee UAV/LiDAR operations, manage data processing, mentor staff, and engage with proposals and clients while exploring new technologies and AI-enabled workflow improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Associate degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Engineering, or related field.
• FAA Part 107 Certification required.
• 8–12+ years of relevant experience; 3–5+ years with LiDAR/UAV/Reality Capture.
• Strong knowledge of survey control, datums, and accuracy standards.
• Willingness to embrace evolving technology and AI tools to improve workflows.
• Authorized to work permanently in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the company’s reality capture program.
• Establish SOPs and QA/QC workflows.
• Oversee UAV, LiDAR, and terrestrial scanning operations.
• Manage point cloud processing and deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with FAA and survey accuracy standards.
