Job summary

Westwood Professional Services seeks a Remote Sensing Project Coordinator to provide technical and administrative support to the Remote Sensing Project Lead across the full lifecycle of remote sensing projects. You will handle RFP review, subcontractor coordination, flight release, work order creation, and invoice approvals while assisting with proposals, FAA reviews, and data collection methods.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of administrative, coordination, or project support experience.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail across multiple tasks.
• Familiarity with remote sensing terminology and workflows.
• Experience coordinating with vendors or subcontractors and reviewing invoices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project tracking tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced office.

Responsibilities

• Review incoming RFPs and summarize scope, requirements, and dates for the lead.
• Coordinate with subcontractors on flight scheduling, availability, and mobilization.
• Release flights and flight requests with UAS and production teams.
• Create and manage work orders for staff and subcontractors.
• Review subcontractor invoices for accuracy and contract alignment.
• Set up basic proposal structure and preliminary pricing.
• Review FAA airspace classifications and flag issues early.
• Evaluate technical approaches for new projects.
• Support management with administrative tasks and reporting.
• Maintain accurate project and subcontractor records.
• Serve as a key coordinator between leads, subcontractors, and production.
