Job summary

The New School is seeking an Admissions Call Center Representative to field admissions inquiries from prospective students, parents, and counselors. You will triage communications across departments and provide information on application instructions, events, deadlines, campus updates, and program details with a strong focus on customer service.

Qualifications

• New School Degree Student status required.
• Minimum one-year office experience.
• Understanding of The New School programs and admission procedures.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Must be able to work a minimum of 6-10 hours per week.
• Reliable access to a computer/laptop and internet.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and triaging communication to appropriate staff/departments.
• Assist callers in navigating The New School website, application processes, and event registration.
• Manage inquiries with enthusiasm for The New School, a positive attitude, flexibility, and excellent customer service.
• Effectively and strategically utilize The New School remote communication technologies.
