Job summary

The Standard is seeking a Disability Accommodation Specialist to serve as the primary contact for employees requesting accommodations for qualifying disabilities. You will triage needs, develop recommendations for employer approval, and consult with employers on options, processes, and resolution in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent HR-related experience, 2+ years in disability accommodation, and preferred ADA/PHR certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in HR, leave management or benefits.
• 2+ years of progressive experience with disability accommodation, absence management and return-to-work.
• Preferred licensure: PHR, CPDM, ADA certification.
• Proven track record of guiding employees and employers on accommodations.

Responsibilities

• ADA Acumen: explain ADA/EEOC guidelines to employees and employers.
• Case Management: manage ADA claims and triage simple to moderate cases.
• Employee Interaction: build trust to support employees’ return to work or stay at work.
• Employer Interaction: guide employers on ADA processes, claims and systems.
