Centene Corporation is seeking an experienced actuary to conduct analysis, pricing and risk assessment for financial outcomes. The role supports the Actuarial Valuation Team with experience analysis, valuation activities and communicating results.

Qualified candidates will have ASA or FSA and strong Excel, SQL, Python, Power BI skills. The position is fully remote within the continental United States, offering opportunities to develop new processes and collaborate across departments while

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in related field; 5+ years actuarial experience with ASA or 4+ years with FSA
• ASA certification required; MAAA preferred

Mansioni

• Estimate liabilities for claims incurred but not paid
• Communicate financial results to health plans and internal stakeholders
• Support the NAIC actuarial opinion process
• Apply mathematics, probability, statistics and finance to quantify outcomes
• Develop probability tables from data and information
• Review insurance plans and calculate required premium rates
• Ensure cash reserves and liabilities enable future benefit payments
• Determine equitable distribution of insurance benefits
• Participate in merger and acquisition analysis
• Perform other duties in line with policies and standards
