Centene Corporation is seeking an experienced actuary to conduct analysis, pricing and risk assessment within the Actuarial Valuation Team. This fully remote role supports monthly IBNR reserves with early-month deadlines and opportunities to design new processes while collaborating across departments.

Required ASA or FSA designation, 5+ years of actuarial experience, strong Excel skills (VBA, PivotTables) and familiarity with SQL, Python, Power BI and AI tools.

Competenze

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
• 5+ years actuarial experience with ASA or 4+ years with FSA required.
• MAAA preferred.
• Experience with estimation of IBNR and NAIC actuarial opinions; healthcare/valuation background helpful.

Mansioni

• Estimate liabilities for claims incurred but not paid.
• Communicate financial results to internal stakeholders.
• Support NAIC actuarial opinion process.
• Apply mathematics, probability, statistics and finance principles to calculate outcomes.
• Develop probability tables from data analysis.
• Review plans and calculate required premium rates.
• Ensure cash reserves enable payment of future benefits.
• Participate in merger and acquisition analysis.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
