Centene Corporation is seeking an experienced actuary to conduct analysis, pricing, and risk assessment. The role supports the Actuarial Valuation Team with experience and trend analysis, valuation activities, and communicating financial results across health plans.

Candidates should have 5+ years actuarial experience with ASA or 4+ years with FSA, and strong Excel, SQL, Python, and Power BI skills. Fully remote within the continental U.S. with flexible schedules is offered.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; 5+ years actuarial experience required.
• ASA or FSA designation required; MAAA preferred.

Mansioni

• Estimate liabilities for claims incurred but not paid.
• Communicate financial results to health plans and internal stakeholders.
• Support the NAIC actuarial opinion process.
• Develop probability tables based on data analysis.
• Review insurance plans and calculate premium rates.
• Ensure cash reserves and liabilities enable future benefits.
• Participate in merger and acquisition analysis.
• Perform other duties as assigned and comply with policies.
