Centene Corporation is seeking an experienced actuary to conduct analysis, pricing and risk assessment to estimate financial outcomes. You will support the Actuarial Valuation Team through experience and trend analysis, valuation activities, and communication of financial results.

The role requires 5+ years with ASA or 4+ years with FSA, and strong Excel, SQL, Python, and Power BI skills. Fully remote within the continental U.S. and collaboration across departments are expected.

Competenze

• Bachelor's Degree in related field; ASA or FSA certification required.
• 5+ years actuarial experience with ASA or 4+ years with FSA.
• MAAA membership preferred.

Mansioni

• Estimate liabilities for claims incurred but not paid.
• Communicate financial results to health plans and internal stakeholders.
• Support the NAIC actuarial opinion process.
• Apply knowledge of mathematics, probability, statistics, finance principles to calculate outcomes.
• Develop probability tables from data analysis.
• Review insurance plans and calculate premium rates.
• Ensure cash reserves and liabilities enable payment of future benefits.
• Determine equitable basis for distributing money for insurance benefits.
• Participate in merger and acquisition analysis.
• Perform other duties as assigned and ensure policy compliance.
