Centene Corporation is seeking an experienced actuary to analyze pricing, valuation and reserves. The role supports the Actuarial Valuation Team with monthly IBNR estimates and leadership collaboration across departments.

Requires ASA with 5+ years or FSA with 4+ years, MAAA preferred, and strong Excel, SQL, Python and Power BI skills. Fully remote within the continental U.S. with a competitive benefits package.

Competenze

• Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years actuarial experience with ASA or 4+ years with FSA.
• MAAA preferred; healthcare and valuation actuarial experience ideal.

Mansioni

• Estimate liabilities for claims incurred but not paid.
• Communicate financial results to plans and internal stakeholders.
• Support NAIC actuarial opinion process.
• Apply math, probability and finance to calculate outcomes.
• Develop probability tables from data and information.
• Review plans and calculate required premium rates.
• Ensure cash reserves and liabilities cover future benefits.
• Determine equitable distribution of funds for benefits.
• Participate in merger and acquisition analysis.
• Perform other duties and adhere to policies.
