Job summary

CareOregon, Inc. seeks an Actuarial Services Manager to oversee actuarial components of financial reporting and analysis. You will develop models for IBNR and reserves, forecast health care cost and utilization, and communicate results to executives. A strong leadership background and health insurance experience are essential.

You will manage regulatory submissions and drive data-driven decisions with cross-functional teams while mentoring staff and aligning with corporate goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in actuarial services related to health care.
• Experience in health insurance actuarial work.
• Knowledge of IBNR estimation, risk adjustment transfers, and health care liabilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage actuarial analysis for financial reporting and planning.
• Develop and maintain models for IBNR, PDR, and other reserves.
• Lead forecasting of utilization and cost trends for budgeting.
• Communicate results to business leaders and Stakeholders.
• Oversee regulatory reporting (CMS and OHA).
• Mentor and supervise actuarial staff and foster a collaborative team culture.
