Job summary

CareOregon, Inc. is seeking an Actuarial Services Manager to oversee actuarial components of financial reporting, with focus on IBNR estimates and reserves. The role includes model development, trend analysis, and presenting findings to leadership.

The position requires extensive health care actuarial experience, supervisory能力, and strong communication skills. Primary duties include management, collaboration with Finance, and input into strategic plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ actuarial experience in health care.
• Experience in health insurance and regulatory reporting.
• Actuarial credentials preferred (ASA/ SOA, FSA).
• Experience supervising teams and leading projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead actuarial analyses for financial reporting and IBNR estimates.
• Develop models for cost and utilization analysis and ROI of initiatives.
• Forecast utilization a nd costs and communicate drivers to leadership.
• Ensure timely regulatory reporting for CMS and OHA.
• Coach and develop staff and manage cross-functional relationships.
