Job summary

CareOregon, Inc. is seeking an experienced actuary to lead the actuarial components of financial reporting and analysis. You will develop IBNR estimates, PDR liabilities, and other reserves, forecast health care costs, and support regulatory reporting and strategic planning.

This role combines technical modeling with people leadership, overseeing a team, communicating results to executives, and driving data-driven decisions across the organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in actuarial services related to health care
• Work experience in health insurance
• Associate of the Society of Actuaries

Responsibilities

• Lead actuarial analysis for financial reporting and forecasting.
• Develop and maintain models for IBNR, PDR liabilities and other reserves.
• Forecast trends in health care cost and utilization to inform budgeting.
• Communicate results and drivers to executives and business leaders.
• Oversee regulatory reporting deadlines and accuracy.
