Job summary

Hunter Hamilton is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist for a fully remote, temporary role estimated to last about 6 months. Candidates must be on East Coast time to be considered and the pay is $22/hour.

The ideal candidate will manage a portfolio of commercial customer accounts totaling around $3 million, drive cash flow, and deliver strong customer service while collaborating with Sales, Operations, and Finance teams.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of Accounts Receivable, Collections, or Billing experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Experience managing customer relationships while driving payment resolution.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of commercial customer accounts totaling about $3 million.
• Perform collections activities for designated customers.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable teams to resolve balances.
• Address payment concerns directly with customers.
• Record, reconcile, and track payments across systems.
• Generate reports and provide insights to stakeholders.
• Resolve billing and invoice discrepancies.
• Support special projects and process improvements.
