Job summary

Modigent is seeking an Accounts Payable Vendor Relations Specialist to handle timely vendor inquiries, payment status updates, and resolution of issues in a high-volume AP environment. This remote role supports Arizona business hours and requires strong communication, organization, and attention to detail, with experience in Sage and Stampli a plus.

You will collaborate with internal partners and external vendors to ensure accurate payments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounts payable and/or customer service experience.
• Associate degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Sage experience required; Stampli experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review, action, and resolve incoming vendor inquiries regarding payment status, payment discrepancies, invoice receipt, statement reconciliation, and general AP questions.
• Communicate professionally with vendors regarding payment timing, invoice status, and next steps.
• Provide clear updates and follow through until vendor questions are resolved.
• Create weekly payment files and send them for approval and processing.
• Work with internal and external business partners to resolve vendor issues timely and accurately.
• Provide coverage for the Accounts Payable Vendor Relations team as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and follow established AP processes and controls.
• Escalate complex or recurring issues and support process improvements where needed.
