Job summary

micro1 is seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst to manage high-volume AP, support payroll processing and payroll taxes in a remote-first environment. The role demands 2–4 years of AP experience, strong Excel skills, and meticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate vendor records and timely month-end close.

Ideal candidates will be proficient in accounting software, capable of resolving discrepancies, and able to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders while maintaining compliance.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of hands-on AP experience.
• Strong knowledge of payroll functions and payroll taxes.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Process a high volume of invoices and expense reports with accuracy and timeliness.
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies.
• Support payroll processing and ensure correct payroll taxes are applied.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address payment inquiries.
• Maintain and update vendor records, ensuring compliance and completeness.
• Assist with month-end closing activities and financial reporting.
• Seek process improvements to streamline AP operations.
