Financial Additions is seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor for a remote, temp-to-hire assignment in Dallas, TX. All applicants must reside in Dallas to be considered.

Ideal candidates will have 4–6 years in AP with 2–3+ years in supervision, hands-on SAP or Workday ERP experience, and strong GAAP knowledge in a high-volume

Qualifications

• 4 to 6 years of progressive experience in accounts payable, with 2 to 3+ years of supervisory or team-lead experience.
• Hands-on ERP experience with SAP or Workday highly preferred
• Strong communication skills to liaise with cross-functional departments (Procurement, Operations, Treasury)
• High attention to detail and problem-solving aptitude in high-volume, deadline-driven environments.
• Strong grasp of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, segregation of duties, and three-way matching principles.
• Accounting degree or some college highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train a team of AP specialists
• Assign daily workloads
• Serve as the primary escalation point for complex vendor inquiries, disputed charges, and payment holds
• Oversee full-cycle AP workflows
• Troubleshoot system-level integration issues between procurement, receiving, and the ERP general ledger
• Maintain vendor master data integrity, tax compliance (e.g., 1099/W-9 reporting), and user security permissions inside SAP or Workday
• Lead month-end and year-end close activities, including AP aging reviews, trade accruals, and Goods Received Not Invoiced (GRNI) / GR/IR reconciliations
• Audit and approve high-dollar wire transfers, ACH batches, and check runs
• Support internal and external audits by pulling transactional samples, variance explanations, and process documentation
