VANTAGE NETWORK is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team remotely. You will work with the Director of Accounting to manage the AP process, maintain accurate records, and support broader accounting operations as the company grows.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s in accounting/finance preferred.
• Proven experience in accounts payable or related accounting role.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting and billing software preferred.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a professional, collaborative approach.
• Experience developing or refining accounting processes and procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices with accuracy, coding, and timely payments using Bill4Time and related systems.
• Reconcile AP transactions and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain organized vendor files and payment records.
• Prepare and process weekly check runs, wire transfers, and ACH payments.
• Monitor and reconcile credit card transactions and statements.
• Respond to vendor inquiries professionally and promptly.
• Collaborate with internal teams to verify invoice approvals and documentation.
• Assist with month-end/year-end closing and AP subledger reconciliations.
• Contribute to development and documentation of standardized AP procedures.
