Job summary

Muse Paintbar is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to oversee invoicing, vendor payments, and related financial transactions for a multi-state operation. You will manage the AP process from invoice receipt to payment and maintain strong internal controls.

Based in Georgia with remote work and occasional in-person meetings in Atlanta, you’ll collaborate with vendors and internal teams, resolve discrepancies, and help optimize cash flow while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping or related financial operations.
• Experience with QuickBooks or similar software.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounts payable from invoice receipt through payment.
• Manage AP inbox and vendor correspondence; resolve discrepancies.
• Enter vendor invoices into QuickBooks with accurate GL coding.
• Review invoices for accuracy and completeness; maintain AP records.
• Coordinate payments via ACH, check, and portals; post cash in QuickBooks.
• Prepare weekly cash funding reports and vendor-specific reporting.
• Coordinate with Financial Controller for monthly close; support year-end tasks.
